Child Mental Health Waiver Services- includes therapy, family & community support, and respite for families of children with mental health diagnoses. Must be referred by a case manager from DHS. Focus areas range from anger management, communication, coping, behavior management, decision making, impulse control, and more.
Remedial Services- Available to children with Title 19. A behavioral health assessment is completed to determine a diagnosis. A remedial order is written by one of our LPHA's. An approved remedial services implementation plan allows for services to be provided to the child and/or family to teach them and practice the necessary skills to manage their diagnoses. Areas commonly addressed are anger management, communication, coping, behavior management, social interactions, and more.
Scott County Tracking- Must be referred by a Juvenile Court Officer for children on probation. Families, Inc. also provides tracking services in Cedar & Muscatine Counties.
Private Adoption Home Studies- Home studies can be purchased on a private pay basis. Call to inquire.
Private Pay Counseling- Self-referrals accepted. Counseling services available in the home or office on a private pay basis. Ability to focus on a range of issues, such as conflict resolution, parenting skill development, anger management, communication skills, parent-child relationship, couples conflict, coping, grief/loss, and more. Available in Cedar, Clinton, Muscatine, Scott, Johnson, Linn, and Benton Counties.
